My Bio

Hei, I’m Liisa — or Liis to my closest ones.

Originally from Tallinn, Estonia. Now citizen of the world and currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

I’ve always been someone who needs movement.
Not just for fitness — but to recharge after work, to stay grounded through all the ups and downs.

I also always knew I wanted to teach something, even before I knew exactly what it would be.

A few years ago, after moving to Amsterdam, I tried almost every Pilates studio in the city. Then I found a tiny classical studio. In my very first class, it was just me and a woman in her 50s, who shared it was her first movement session after recovering from breast cancer.

That moment shifted something.
Pilates stopped being a trend or matching outfits. It became about real people, real strength, healing, resilience, and confidence.

Now I’m a certified Pilates instructor in mat and apparatus, including reformer, chair, Cadillac, and springboard.

My goal is to promote the understanding that Pilates is for everyone, and to help people feel comfortable and safe in their own bodies. I believe I can do this through Pilates.

I also believe movement is not one-size-fits-all. My hope is that everyone finds a movement practice — and a teacher — that truly suits them, and feels right in their body.

Liis
